This research explores the concept of behaviour-influencing design and its potential to initiate social change. Complex issues that face our society continue to remain largely unchanged regardless of the rational solutions available. So if the information is out there; Why is it so hard for us to change? This research questions whether the solution lies outside the rational, but instead in the form of our habits; our everyday behaviours in which these issues develop.
Could a design-lead intervention, informed by these behavioural insights have the potential to successfully change our everyday behaviours for the greater good of society?
